The SKIP for PA Study (Services for Kids in Primary Care, SKIP) is a treatment implementation study for families of children who are between the ages of 5 and 12 years. We are trying to better understand how we can improve behavioral health care services provided at primary care providers' offices.

"A Feasibility Study on the Virtual Adaptation of Child–Adult Relationship Enhancement in Primary Care," an article detailing mixed-method study explored the feasibility, acceptability, and appropriateness of the virtual delivery of a parenting intervention, Child–Adult Relationship Enhancement in Primary Care (PriCARE) among 18 caregivers and 8 facilitators by Raffa et al. has been published in Journal of Technolopgy in Behavioral Science.

Implementation Readiness in Large-Scale Implementation Trials of Collaborative Care Models

At the 16th annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Health, SKIP for PA investigators (Dr. David Kolko, Dr. Ian Bennett, and Dr. Shawna Smith) discussed implementation readiness, early challenges, and practical strategies for maintaining rigor in large implementation trials of collaborative/chronic care models, including early practical and methodological challenges in an ongoing trial, strategies for assessing readiness and measuring implementation progress, and adaptive designs and tailored support for slow-responder sites. Dr. Elizabeth Miller chaired the discussion, and Dr. Amy Kilbourne also participated as a discussant.
